Strategi peningkatan Kinerja UMKM dengan metode AHP

Abstract

The significant role of SMEs in Indonesia's economy cannot be underestimated. SMEs contribute substantially to economic growth, job creation, and employment absorption. As a key pillar in strengthening Indonesia's economic structure, this research provides insights through a model aimed at enhancing the performance of SMEs under the guidance of the National Standardization Agency (BSN). Utilizing the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) method, the study evaluates strategies for improving SMEs by involving seven experts. The AHP analysis results indicate that the primary focus for enhancing SME performance should be on the SME owners themselves. Additionally, the analysis highlights that a high-scoring alternative strategy is the reinforcement of SME leadership character through one-on-one mentoring for the implementation of standards. By adopting the right strategies, these mentored SMEs can continuously improve product/service quality, operational efficiency, and market competitiveness.
